John Bloomfield & Taubman Technique
The Taubman Approach is a comprehensive approach to piano technique that solves technical programs using rational and ordered means. Developed over five decades by pedagogue and pianist, Dorothy Taubman (1918– 2013) who was based in Brooklyn. The approach has successfully helped many injured pianists return to performing as well as producing virtuoso pianists.
Listen as Co-Founder, Senior Director, Faculty Chair from the Golandsky Institute, John Bloomfield as well as Master Level and Associate Faculty with the Golandsky Institute, Dr Therese Milanovic speak with Paul Myatt about the Taubman approach.
